Karen and Bill strive to provide a unique musical experience an intimate setting.
Unlike bars and concert venues, the audience is front and centre, visible to the performer and sharing the experience with the artist, often in an iteractive manner.
As long-time listeners & donors to CKUA Radio and, regular festival goers, Karen and Bill are always on the look-out for musical acts that would appeal to their audience.
In addition, there is a perference for local and Alberta artists, but not at the expense of missing out of great music.
A number of the artists from previous shows, regularly contact Karen and Bill to inquire about a doing concert while they are in Alberta/Calgary.
Our Concerts
We have a 40 foot x 25 foot performance space in our home.
It has a 25 foot x 15 foot floor level stage.
There are 71 seats, 65 of which were reclaimed from the Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium and the Bert Church Theatre, mounted on three levels with a centre aisle.
Backstage there is a Green Room and a dressing room.
We provide a variety of foods plus coffee, tea, and water in our great room, for guests and artists alike.
There is a dedicated space in the same room, where we provide a merchandise table.
The performance for Sunday concerts starts at 2:00 in the late fall through early spring and 4:00 otherwise.
We can accommodate any amount of sound check time prior to opening the doors for the performance.
